In this paper the perception of territorial dynamics is tested in a long diachrony between the 4th and 1st millennium BC in Serra da Nave plateau and Penedono plateau, with the Tedo/Távora interfluvial as a delimiter of these two geomorphological contexts. Each with specificities, but also with similarities. For this purpose, an analysis of some of the most representative architectures and materialities is made in both plateaus and the results are contrasted.
As far as architectures are concerned, the dispersal pattern of funerary constructions is analysed. The archaeological record of these structures is detected from the 4th millennium until the beginning of the 1st millennium. From the «world of the living» are considered housing contexts and other forms of appropriation and marking of the landscape (non-funerary contexts).
For the materialities, is made a brief analysis on the dispersion patterns of the most abundant and representative ceramics of the various chronological periods. Considering that excavated sites are not abundant, mainly are analysed those concerning surface finds, namely decorated pottery.
