In addition to being a critical review of Towards an Anthropological Theory of Value: The False Coin of Our Own Dreams, by David Graeber, and Anthropologies of Value: Cultures of Accumulation Across the Global North and South, edited by Luis Fernando Angosto-Ferrández and Geir Henning Presterudstuen, this text seeks to introduce solid theoretical bases for dealing with the plural ways of valuing human activity and the products that derive from it. In this manner, it aims to contribute to stimulating anthropological debates about the social mechanisms that guide human activity and, therefore, underlie all the power relations that structure our society.
