The Theaetetus of Plato is a maieutic dia-logue not propositional. In it, Plato doesn‘t present his own personal epistemology, but discusses the positions of some contemporary authors, including Protagoras. He applies the maieutical method to the protagorean doctrine to show that this conception is not sustainable.
