Resumo

Usualmente se tem tratado a interação entre ceticismo e cristianismo apoiando-se em textos restritos ao contexto da modernidade e, consequentemente, ao que veio a ser denominado ‘fideísmo’, que consiste em levantar dúvidas céticas acerca de toda e qualquer doutrina ou argumentação racional, com vistas a demonstrar as contradições da razão e propor como alternativa um salto para a fé. Contudo, esse trabalho pretende fomentar a investigação da influência da abordagem e da dýnamis cética pirrônica antiga — portanto, não dubitativa, mas investigativa, aporética e suspensiva — sobre obras de importantes pensadores do cristianismo antigo e do renascimento.
