The bindings of the tombos of the Episcopal Mitra of Coimbra (16th to 18th centuries)

This article aims to identify types of binding and their respective decoration by analysing 57 books of Tombos de demarcação e reconhecimento from Mitra Episcopal de Coimbra, from the 16th to the 18th centuries. There are four different types of binding: parchment, leather-covered cardboard - engraved or not, board, and cardboard lined with pink paper. The description sheets for each of the codices are attached.
