Abstract

At Coimbra’s Town Hall Archive there is, at least since the early 1800s, a 16th-Century notary record book from Montemor-o-Velho. Coimbra’s University Archive only possesses books from the same typology beginning in 1712. This work presents an index of all documents contained in the said book, thus aiming at filling a gap in the knowledge of the region, debilitated by the disappearance of the notary documentation up to the 18th-Century.
