Abstract

This article aims to make known to the public two book of measurement and demarcation of properties of the monastery of Santa Maria de Arouca, dating from the 18th century, situated on the ground of Cambra.
Through the scriptures that we find in the codex we can meet some assets that Arouca’s monastery had and gather toponymical data, economic data (agricultural production, livestock and their derivatives), or even measures of capacity and currency in use at the time.
