Green in the city: reflection inspired by the city of Coimbra (Portugal)

Urban green spaces are usually analyzed under its benefits to people for various reasons. This paper aims to look at the green spaces on the side of the plants in terms of their sustainability in urban space, discussing the good choice of species, but also its correct insertion into the ground. Finally, attention is called on the expansion of invasive species as the carelessness with which they have been dealt within the city.
