This article aims to examine a funerary Roman sculpted piece, a prismatic cippus’ capstone, which was identified in Porto da Lama, Alcácer do Sal, and object of brief publication in Ficheiro Epigráfico 265, 2024 (with the number 888). Considering that this first approach was little more than a discovery note, we now intend to present some data and conclusions that we consider relevant for a better contextualization of this object.
