Abstract

The first inscription concerns the formulation of the funerary dedication of Claudia Varenilla, the governor’s wife of the province of Aquitaine, and the role of the city of Pictons. The second, disputed by several epigraphists, permits to address the relationship between the city of Pictons and Lusitania.
