Abstract

Six brooches from the Museum Joaquim Manso (Nazaré) are here published. The provenance of nos. 3 and 4 is unknown. Nos. 1 and 2, from Castro de Pirreitas (Alcobaça), suggest trade contacts of the area with Central Mediterranean in the 8-7th. century B.C. Nos. 5 and 6, from Casal da Mota (Nazaré), belong to the Nauheim type.
