Resumo

Este trabalho contribui para a compreensão do comportamento dinâmico a curto e a longo prazo das vias-férreas, em geral, e das zonas de transição em particular, recorrendo a uma abordagem inovadora e integrada. Numa primeira fase, é apresentada uma comparação entre o desempenho a curto e a longo prazo da via balastrada e via em laje. As tensões no solo de fundação e a respetiva deformação permanente são comparadas e avaliadas através dos índices SAF e PDAF, respetivamente. Posteriormente, os deslocamentos das vias em laje e com balastro foram medidos experimentalmente em ambiente laboratorial ao longo de mais de três milhões de ciclos, resultantes da simulação da passagem de comboios. Foram calibrados dois modelos tridimensionais e um modelo de deformação permanente, de modo a reproduzir numericamente os ensaios laboratoriais. Com base nessa calibração, é apresentada a análise do desempenho da via a curto e a longo prazo de uma zona de transição entre um aterro e um túnel, considerando a via em laje como sistema de via.
