About the Journal

The journal Queirosiana. Studies on Eça de Queirós and his Generation has been published regularly since 1991, initially as the official publication of the Association of Friends of Eça de Queirós and, since then, under the editorship of Carlos Reis. As soon as the Eça de Queirós Foundation (FEQ) was established, Queirosiana became the property of this institution. In July 2022, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Centre for Portuguese Literature (CLP) and the FEQ; following this agreement, the Governing Board of that R&D unit accepted a proposal from the journal’s editor and a collaborating member of the CLP, for Queirosiana to be published and scientifically supervised by the aforementioned research unit.
