The contemporaneity of an old question

Abstract

In February 2022, the Washington Post announced the creation of a new editorial team - The Post's Democracy Team - whose journalists will henceforth be tasked with better covering electoral processes and local authorities. Once again, the importance of information - and the intention to improve it - is emphasised, on the assumption that this will have a positive impact on the processes of action of the bodies of democratic power.
