Our general objective was to analyse how students from two different degrees, Psychology and the Sciences of Sport, behave when confronted with academic evaluation given that they are a part of academic life. Our specific objective was to analyse any differences found with reference to the different variables studied in relation to the course and the year of the exam. For this purpose, the Scale of Academic Motivation (Vallerand, Blais, Brière & Pelletier, 1989) was applied and is constituted by 28 items subdivided into 7 scales. A questionnaire related to the degree, study methods and anxiety levels was used to obtain information about how students feel when confronted with various types of evaluation. Zung’s Anxiety Scale (Ponciano, Serra & Relvas (1982), was also administered, and is comprised of 20 items, subdivided into 4 components of anxiety.Downloads
