Abstract

The translation we present concerns the debate between Jocasta, Polynices, and Eteocles regarding the exile of one and the tyrannical rule of the other, the imminent war between Argos and Thebes, and the mother's attempt to prevent the curse Oedipus uttered against his sons from finally reaching its conclusion.
