Abstract

How to teach, how to learn, the usual didactic problems, in the Latin language, as in other subjects. It is the eternal struggle between old and new, the search for change, the urge to adapt to new times.  Using the reading of Latin text in the classrrom as reference, reading the official programs and the methodological recommendations in them, including the manuals used, allows us to evaluate the evolution of Latin teaching/learning in Portuguese secondary education.
