Abstract

As mentioned in the curricular guidelines for the discipline of Geography, geographic education by providing students with opportunities to develop skills in this area, both from the point of view of the conceptual and instrumental dimensions of knowledge, and from the practical point of view, playing an essential training role in development and training for citizenship. Thus, starting from a theorized analysis of the curricular framework of the discipline and themes approached by other disciplines and dimensions of knowledge, it is intended that this dissertation, be distinguished by combining in the methodological sphere, all the experience acquired from the empirical knowledge of years of professional teaching . It was proposed to highlight the multiscale vision of Geography, very pressing in curricular documents such as Essential Learning and PASEO or in the International Charter of Geographic Education, analyzing the transversality of themes in Vocational Education with Geography teachers, who teach in Vocational Courses. An effort was also made to deepen pedagogical strategies taking into account the specificity of the target audience, which is often not very motivated for spatial thinking, for the perception of geographical phenomena and their explanatory processes.
