Abstract

This article analyzes the impact the Pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 has caused in the socioeconomic and political systems of our societies, along with its consequences and potentialities. It will explore the centrality of politics to people’s lives when the future remains unknown. It will further ask whether Europe will be able to emerge from the crisis stronger than before and if so, if this Europe will be more cohesive, resilient, and sustainable. It is based on these questions that we propose a critical reflection on the European response to the Pandemic.
