Abstract

Looking at the challenges associated to the massive flux of refugees/migrants in recent years to the EU, questioning its capability of reply, and following on the securitization processes of refugees and migrants, this article seeks to map the responses and measures adopted by the EU, aiming at understanding how it has been dealing with politics of inclusion and integration regarding those who seek new opportunities of life in the Union. The article seeks also to understand the challenges this issue has raised in the European agenda, both in its internal and external dimensions.
