Digital education: the basis for the construction of digital citizenship

Abstract

This article's goal is to propose a reflection on the digital citizenship inserted in the need of a digital education that may transform the individual exposed to the digital era transformations as well as information, products and services from all places on the planet. If the network has global reach (World Wide Web), the citizen is no longer a character of it's homeland or nation, he now belongs to a world that is connected. The education of this new citizen is a challenge for all the state representatives on the planet.
