Geosynthetics reinforced soil wall behaviour analysis

Abstract

The behaviour during construction of a geosynthetics reinforced soil wall built incrementally is studied by the Finite Element Method. Special importance is given to the efforts and strains in the reinforcements, the state of stress in the reinforced soil and the wall displacements.
