The revised on the classification of soils for engineering purposes

Abstract

The  new  revised  ASTM  on  the  classification  of  soils for  engineering purposes (ASTM D 2487-85) is presented with the mains modifications from the ASTM D 2487-66T).

It is intended in this way, to give a better divulgation in the national geotechnical community of the revised ASTM standard on the most popular and widely used soil classification system (unified system).
