Geophysical Seismic Methods for Assessment of Rock Masses Deformability

Abstract

A metodology for the application of geophysical seismic methods to the study of rock masses defonnability is described.

Empirical correlations between seismic parameters (dynamic elasticity modulus and shear wave frequency) and static deformability modulus are also presented.
