Abstract

Matthew Humphreys, a professor at Kingston University in London, aims to address the theme of the relationship between sustainable development and the policies developed over recent years in Europe, in the field of transport, which, although it constitutes one of the largest industries in the world, has often been seen merely as a facilitator of other economic activities.
