Abstract

The Trail Making Test (TMT) is one of the most widely used neuropsychological instruments in clinical practice and cognitive research. We adapted the TMT to the Portuguese population and collected normative data. The sample consisted of 416 subjects without evidence or history of neurological or psychiatric disturbances, ranging in age from 21 through 65, with 4 or more years of education. The collected normative data are presented by age and education. Non-parametric tests revealed that age, education and gender significantly influenced the performance on the TMT.
