The daily life of the Galician peasants in the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries, passed around a number of key ambits, among those central to the family and the rural community in which they developed a full sweats existence, and hard work in the fields, with very difficult living conditions, living in spartan housing, often poorly clothed and fed. But despite all this, they did not renounce their moments of fun and frolic, displaying a variety of forms of popular sociability, which manifested itself in many different spaces and moments of everyday life in rural areas.
