Death in Coimbra constitutes a new look at the interpretation of death records of the city, between 1750 and 1777. Through consultation of these sources, we reached the definition of demographic traits and trends, attitudes and behavior towards death, religiosity and social assistence that characterized part of the Eighteenth-century Coimbra society.
