Abstract

Replacing transmission‑based teaching and knowledge assessment, skills development has been recognized as a new expression of higher education pedagogy, especially since the implementation of the Bologna process. This article aims to observe how the current university pedagogy is in relation to academic libraries, particularly at the intersection of intentions, practices and resources mobilized for the induction and development of information literacy in students. By providing essential information resources for the pursuit of academic goals, university libraries can contribute to university pedagogy, through strategies that consolidate learning effectiveness under the reading‑writing movement. Therefore the purpose of this article is to reflect upon academic writing and the factors that cross and constitute it, in the light of the mentioned concepts.
