Firefighter activity involves managing stressful situations and a variety of emotions. This study aims to understand the influence of expressed emotions at work on job satisfaction and understand if they are mediated by coping strategies. Results showed that the combination of emotions expressed in work with coping strategies can increase job satisfaction and can lead to better management of stressful job situations (S. Folkman and R. Lazarus, 1991).Downloads
