This research aims the exploratory data analysis of infectious diseases, such as acute diarrhea syndrome and leptospirosis with flooding by rainfall that occurred in the State of Santa Catarina, during the period from 2008 to 2012. The research
shows that the use of geotechnology associated with prospective risk management contributes to the definition of interventions in order to minimize the occurrence of diseases in cases of floods by rainfall.
