Health risks in a cold thermal environment: clothing and a cold wave

This paper presents a case study for cold thermal environment in the open air in a region of geographic coordinates 40.67ºN e and 8.45ºW conducted in first fortnight of February 2015 in Sernada do Vouga, municipality of Águeda, district of Aveiro. It was kept insulated clothingThermal insulation of the clothing was kept. Thermal sensation indicators and thermal insulation indicators were used. The results obtained show that the actual thermal sensations are in agreement with the thermal sensation provided, and that the thermal insulation of the garment must be adapted to the thermohygrometrics conditions of humid air, in order to prevent the failure of the bodyybody failure.
