O Serviço de Apoio Administrativo da Biblioteca Geral: funções correntes e desafios novos

Abstract

The Administrative Support Services of the General Library fulfill several fundamental tasks for the functioning of this organic unit of the University of Coimbra. One of its main responsibilities is to support to the internal users (services and personnel of the General Library, organic units of the University and the Social Action Services of the University of Coimbra), as well as to the external users (readers, researchers and collective entities). This work intends to bring awareness to some tendencies that have prevailed in this field, points to future challenges and proposes improvement measures.
