Abstract

This paper presents and transcribes the Report of the Library of the University of Coimbra from the academic year of 1870/1871, by Bernardo António Serra de Mirabeau. It shows that the brief and until now almost unknown consulate of Bernardo Serra de Mirabeau in the direction of the Library of the University between June 1871 and May 1872 was an episode of great importance and significant impact on the history of the Library.
