Missão de formação na Biblioteca da Universidade Pedagógica de Cracóvia

Abstract

The University of Coimbra promotes staff mobility for training purposes through the Erasmus Program. These experiences result in training activities in the European institutions or companies located in one of the countries participating in the Program. As part of this program, a training mission set up at the Central Library of the Pedagogical University of Krakow (Poland) in March 2016. The visit resulted from an invitation made to the University of Coimbra, which included a proposal for collaboration between the two institutions. In this text, we present the most significant aspects of the mission.
At another level, we compare the reality of both institutions, as a visit of this kind and scope allows observing. Finally, we make a brief analysis of this training, taking in account a set of initiatives considered for implementation in the workplace.
