Drawing upon an expanded notion of dissidence, this article proposes that the artistic practices known as electrography and copy art are characterized, in the one hand, as a radical form of dissidence in relation to the editorial system and the art world. By challenging the established contexts and practices of making art, they bring up their own alternatives. Therefore, it is relevant to outline that these works are not only shaped as experimental publications that question the very traditional concepts of work of art and authorship, they also forge counter-hegemonic channels of communication and cooperation between artists.
