Abstract

Geography and Religion have a timeless relationship. While the study of religions has attracted the attention of a large circle of researchers from the fields of Sociology, Anthropology, Philosophy, History, especially Theology, Geography has remained more discreet. However, considering this diversity of interests and perspectives, we have conceived the starting question of this article: what contributions has Geography made in the field of Religion? From an approach in the form of a reflective essay, the aim of this paper is to systematize analytically the bibliographic production of geography in the English-speaking world, especially for primary bibliographic sources produced during the twentieth century, focusing on the 60s, 70s and 80s.
