This study aims to reveal the Portuguese and European women who contributed to the construction of Europe. In Portugal, Irene de Vasconcelos, Elina Guimarães and Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo. The first took part in the discussion on the European Federal Project Aristides Briand, within the League of Nations. The second, at the same time, but in Portugal, revealed familiar with the discussion of the European project through in Portugal Feminino. Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo, women with national and international projection, conciliated political pragmatism with reflection on Europe, with the thirty-year history of integration of Portugal in Europe. At European level, refer to the figure of Louise Weiss, the pro-European conviction and the reflections of Maria Antonietta Macchiocchi on Europe.
