Episodes of a security Europe – Mediterranean seaports, refugees and waiting territories

The Mediterranean Sea is an important passageway for migrants wishing to reach Europe. However, this maritime space is also a territory of conflict, reflecting a closed European Union. The problem affecting the Open Arms boat in 2019, which was prevented from approaching certain European ports, is an example of such security policies.
