Editorial

Abstract

The Editorial Board of Geotecnia Journal, in line with the latest progress of scientific journals, has launched a thematic issue on "Application of Numerical Methods in Geotechnical Engineering Works" which includes articles that are published in this number (144) and in the previous one (143) and grouped in a virtual issue available in the website of this Journal (http://spgeotecnia.pt/revistageotecnia). It is intended in this way to give greater dissemination via electronics (emails) and also through social media. The preparation of this volume was in charge of the guest Editors José Vieira de Lemos (by SPG), Márcio Muniz de Farias (for ABMS) and César Sagaseta (by SEMSIG) to whom the Editorial Board expressing once again a very special acknowledgement, extended to all authors and reviewers of the articles. Also deserves a renewed vote of thanks the fellow Member of the Board, Nuno Guerra, for monitoring and continuously supporting this process.
