Soil-geosynthetic interface resistance is studied by carrying out inclined plane shear tests. A developed apparatus is presented and test methodology is described. Soil and geosynthetic characteristics are identified and the tests results are analysed. Finally, some conclusions are put forward, namely in what concerns the fiability of the test to study soil-geosynthetic interaction phenomena, in slopes.
