A Rheological Kelvin Model Submitted to a Cyclic Linear Stress

Abstract

The Kelvin model submitted to a linear ciclic stress, with a maximum aM, is studied. It is veryfied that the strain-time relation is a wave-type curve. This curve will tend to the strain due to creep under a stress of aM/2 when the semi-period, T, of the linear ciclic stress tends to zero.
