The inclusion stiffness and the behaviour of reinforced walls

Abstract

The influence of reinforcement stiffness on the behaviour of reinforced walls is studied. The role of this parameter on the behaviour of walls is discussed from an analytical point of view. The results of numerical simulations of the behaviour of reinforced walls with extensible and inextensible inclusions are compared.
