A numerical technique to solve Palmer's equation

A numerical technique to obtain the curve of undrained shear stresses according to Palmer's equation for selfboring pressuremeter tests is presented. When writing the correspondent computer program there are some advantages in using an interactive graphical system which are refered. Program ANABELA, created and developed in LNEC for processing pressuremeter tests results according to the above quoted technique which uses the Graphical Kemel System (GKS) is presented. A general overview of graphical images created by program ANABELA which represents strenght and deformability parameters obtained by pressuremeter tests is given.
