Application of the boundary element method in the analisys of underground structures

Abstract

The article mentions boundary element models developed at LNEC used in the analisys of underground structures.

Some considerations are made on the boundary element method, the models developed for plane and

three-dimensional equilibria are presented, and some instances of application are given.
