Stresses and strains forecast of Beliche dam during construction

Abstract

Forecast of stresses and deformations in construction phase of an earth-rockfill dam is presented. Laboratory tests and nonlinear stress-strain analysis was done and a modified hyperbolic model to deal with curved strength envelopes of rockfill is described.
