The cone penetration test 1n the determination of liquid and plastic limits

Abstract

The reliability of the determination of liquid and plastic limit of soils using the cone penetration is studied.

Results of conventional tests and penetration tests are compared.  It can be concluded that the later present better accuracy and less scattering.
