This paper deals with some aspects of gallery in rock construction technology. We mention here the particularities of the temporary diversion tunnels construction at Picote, Miranda and Bemposta (Douro River), of a road galery at Picote and tunnels to carry out the underground works at Bemposta.
We also present some observations on the construction of Bemposta penstocks, of the in charge diversion tunnel and tail race gallery at Távora. This repport also informs about the works in a part of the tunnel that connects with Távora power-house, where we had to face a ruin.
References are also made to the works in part disturbed by a fault on Régua railway tunnel. Finaly, it points out some remarks on the construction of Picote and Miranda underground power-houses.
