The Seismic Method of Geophysical Exploration as Applied to Road Studies

Abstract

The principles of the seismic refraction method are presented as well as the techniques and equipment currently in use for its application in road studies. ln addition the author reports some special features of the seismic exploration method which are of interest for these studies and have not yet been sufficiently made known.
