Beware of Microtunneling!

Abstract

Microtunneling is presented as a technique for the underground installation of pipes and cables without the recourse to trenches. Two widely used microtunneling technologies are described. Severa! advantages of microtunneling over traditional methods are identified. Suggestions are made for the introduction of microtunneling in Portugal.
